Once the grade up toward the crossing and through the 'tree tunnel' was complete, it was time to lay another 200 feet of track. Unfortunately, the photos are limited, I hope to add some others later.

Rough set ties prior to spacing. Train Mountain plastic ties and RMI plastic tie plates are used.
 


Ties are spaced 5" on-center, and then fastened to the rail. The ties near the two buckets have been fastened.


A new switch is being added. This switch will lead back to the second track at the engine house.
 


The switch is connected in. This switch happens to be aluminum. It was one of four I purchased last year. All future switches will be steel.
