February, 2007

In February we worked on the driveway cut at the end of the North Loop. A lot of manual labor here...after the sawcut, all of the asphalt had to be picked out. We then laid down base rock and tamped it firm before putting down the rebar and wire. Next came the base concrete layer - a minimum 4", which, once cured, had the panel track hilti'd down to it. After the ends of the loop were aligned and connected with the existing track, a finish concrete coat was put down to make the track level with the driveway.
